Chicago is an exciting city through which to travel. However, O’Hare Airport is well-known to be very large. So much so that if you don’t allow enough time when you plan your arrival, you will miss your flight…and at O’Hare, you may need more than the standard one to two hours recommended by most airports. By booking a room on ParkSleepFly, however, you can get your parking (and ride to the airport) for free for one or two weeks. Highlighted below are three O’Hare airport hotels that are worth looking into.
The Ramada O’Hare Hotel carries a three-star industry rating and features over four hundred parking spaces. Located within six miles of the airport, the Ramada offers a complimentary airport shuttle to and from y our terminal. Whether you stay over the night before your flight or the night of your return, you’ll receive a complimentary breakfast in the morning, as well as a free newspaper. This airport hotel also features a magazine rack if you’re on the way to the airport and already finished reading your newspaper; a diverse collection of top publications await your selection. During your stay, you can get some exercise in the fitness center, or relax in the indoor heated pool. This airport hotel features an arcade hut, providing entertainment for children of all ages. The Ramada also offers a business center to guests, providing internet and printing capabilities. One night and fourteen days of parking at this airport hotel costs only $89.00 (Quoted date of stay October 20, 2008 through October 21, 2008).
The LaQuinta Inn & Suites airport hotel holds a three-star industry rating and earned four stars based on customer responses. If you elect to visit this airport hotel, you can get some exercise the night before or after your flight at the fitness center. The following morning, you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, regardless of whether it’s a weekday or Saturday or Sunday. When you’re ready to travel to and from your terminal, you can ride in the complimentary shuttle bus provided. To book one night’s stay and fourteen days of parking would cost an estimated $95.00 to $105.00 depending on how many persons stay in the room (Quoted date of stay October 20, 2008 through October 21, 2008).
At the Radisson Hotel, a three-star airport hotel located only two miles from O’Hare Airport, you can enjoy the stress-free ride between the hotel and your terminal on a free airport shuttle. While enjoying your stay, you can relax at the Bakery Café restaurant or the Lobby Bar. You can exercise in the fitness center, and during the warmer months, swim in the outdoor seasonal pool. This airport hotel also offers free high speed internet. For one night’s stay and seven days of parking, you might expect to pay an estimated $119.00. This price was quoted with a date of stay October 20, 2008 through October 21, 2008.
While there are over a dozen airport hotels near and around O’Hare for you to choose from, the aforementioned three comprise a comprehensive sampling of the sorts of amenities you could expect at a three-star airport hotel near O’Hare…and what you might expect to pay depending on those amenities and room size (in other words, how many people will be staying in the room).

With so many ways to get to the airport, why would travelers need to drive themselves; why would they need to park? Let’s look first at some of the alternate options available. Public transportation, hired cars and carpooling all present alternate ways to get to and from the airport, but driving oneself has unique and positive effects.
Public transportation, such as trains, subways and buses all exist to transport the public about, more efficiently and for less money than other modes of transportation, such as hired cars. However, the two main issues with traveling via public transportation are inconvenience and timing. If you’re carrying lots of heavy luggage with you, trains and buses can be difficult; you have to carry everything, probably for a considerable distance, and find a way to fit it beside you or over your head. Trains don’t have a “check your luggage” feature. Furthermore, relying on public transportation, particularly buses, can be risky when you’ve a flight to catch. There are many possibilities for delays that could cost you your next connecting ride to the airport.
Hired cars are often expensive. While you won’t have to worry much about where to stow your luggage while you ride, or making it to the airport or not, the fact is that the cost of traveling by taxicab or limousine is often too expensive.
Carpooling, or getting a ride from a friend or family member is a good way to save money, but can encounter obvious hassles, such as different flight times, different terminals, traffic delays and personal delays.
Overall, driving yourself will allow you to bypass many unecessary delays and costs, while affording you the convenience of knowing you’ll have space for your luggage. While you’re parking at the airport, why not enjoy a complimentary shuttle and a hotel room? Booking your parking on ParkSleepFly will grant you all of those options.

For years, aspirins and other medicines have always claimed their ability to conquer and banish a headache. Not many of them can claim to prevent a headache without side effects. What if you could avoid a travel headache altogether? Prevent it, before it even crosses your mind to allow a headache…without medicine or side effects?
Okay, so we’re not saying don’t bring along your Tylenol. What if you bump your head on the overhead compartment? But we’re not talking about the kind of headaches that come from hitting your head; we’re talking about the kind that come from not getting enough sleep. Thousands of Americans suffer from sleep deprivation, and while many times, that is caused by something perhaps out of our control. Many times though, we stay up late to catch up on work, wake up early to get a head start, and work through our lunch break so that we don’t fall behind. We work weekends, and bring a laptop on vacation so we don’t return a desk buried in work.
Every opportunity to safely rest should be snatched up, and ParkSleepFly is ready to provide that opportunity. By reserving a hotel room for the night before your flight (or the night after), you get the promise of a full night’s sleep. Lack of sleep contributes not only to headaches, but to lethargy, weight gain, irritability, and in general, a whole slew of conditions that no one wants.
ParkSleepFly knows that you’re busy, and that you have lots of work to do while you travel. But we want you to be comfortable and happy too. Treat yourself to a good night’s sleep, because sleeping on a plane, at least in most seats, isn’t as restful as in a hotel room, on a big bed that you can have all to yourself.

In recent years, more and more travelers have been booking elements of their vacations online. Airplane tickets were one of the first elements of travel that allowed for online purchase, mostly because airlines already booked tickets for travel agents using a computer system. Hotels room booking over the internet was quick to follow for large hotel chains, but took a little while longer for inns and B&B’s. Travel packages became popular for hotel rooms and airline tickets, guaranteeing your flight and a hotel room when you arrived at your destination.
Now, the travel agent has become the internet. ParkSleepFly is a pioneer in the realm of self-booking travel arrangements, allowing travelers to book hotel rooms and airport parking, for the purpose of making getting to the airport on time easier and more stress free. Whereas many airports do not even allow travelers to book their parking, ParkSleepFly allows travelers to book hotel rooms and parking ahead of time, when they book their trip, and for less money.
Planning a trip used to be far more time consuming. Travelers had to go to see a travel agent, collect reading material, go home and review it with their families, return to the travel agent (or call) to have everything booked, and then await confirmation. Nowadays, travelers can get onto the internet (which for many doesn’t even involve dialing anymore), look up where they’d like to visit, book their airfare, hotels and parking, and print out confirmation then and there, from the comfort of their home.
While this shift has not been beneficial to travel agents who do not wish to adapt, it adds convenience for the traveler, so that more focus can be placed on enjoying the trip itself. Imagine missing out on climbing to the top of Il Duomo to see all of Florence, Italy, or not seeing the whale breach on the port side because you’re busy rearranging your itinerary to spend one more day on vacation, when you could enjoy your trip and use the hotel’s free wi-fi later that evening to adjust your travel plans.
ParkSleepFly is part of this shift toward greater convenience, at a lower price, for travelers.
